Al wasn’t always a designer. For a while there, he was on the fast track to video gaming fame. Growing up under the nurturing eaves of Atlanta’s noisy arcades, more than once he was near-champion of national Street Fighter tournaments. Once he realized he’d never hadouken his way to Hollywood, Al graduated from art school and has since done work for Red Bull, Vitamin Water and Hewlett Packard, as well as branded hip-hop artists Chance the Rapper and Future. For fun? He’s got his nose (and arms and legs) to the grindstone creating his own clothing line, NMAD.
